U-pipe Solar Manifold Collector – Ideal Solution for High Temperature Water Heating Requirements
Now a days, U-Pipe type solar manifold collectors becoming very popular.The heat energy, transferred from sunlight by evacuated tubes, will be delivered by fins and the U-pipes made of copper, into the heat transferring fluid to heat the water inside the tank via pump. Inside the glass vacuum tube lies a copper pipe folded into a U-Shape with aluminum thermal conductors to transfer the solar energy from the inside wall of the glass tube to the collector case. The heat transfer fluid flows into each copper pipe, then connected in parallel to the upper part of the panel to a single collector.
