Looking at the scenario our Honorable Prime Minister has come up with “SURYODAYA YOJANA”.
The honorable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has announced ‘PRADHAN MANTRI SURYODAYA YOJANA’ under which 1 crore households will get rooftop solar.
PM Modi said: “ Today, on the auspicious occasion of the consecration of life in Ayodhya, my resolve has been further strengthened that the people of India should have their own solar rooftop system on the roof of their houses.”
PM Modi announced this yojana on the auspicious day, the consecration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. He launched this yojana just after coming back from the inauguration ceremony in Ayodhya. The ‘PRADHAN MANTRI SURYODAYA YOJANA’ was launched with a mission to reduce the electricity bill of the poor and middle class, and also to make India a self-reliant country in terms of energy.
This ‘SURYODAYA YOJANA’ can be a game changer in the world of sustainable energy as it will help 1 crore homes in installing solar energy.
